MELANIE BROWN, PHD
Dr. Brown is Executive Director of The Communiversity of South Africa, Vrygrond, Cape Town, SA and President of the CIDA Foundation, Fairfield, Iowa USA. She has been working in the field of human development and education for over thirty years, earning a PhD from University of California at Berkeley in Educational Psychology, and two Masters’ degrees in psychology and international education. She is the author or co-author of four books, including one on personal greatness. For her work with Communiversity, she was selected to receive a 2013 World of Difference award from The International Alliance for Women for creating economic opportunity for women in Africa.

LESLEE GOLDSTEIN, PHD
Dr. Goldstein is International Director of Special Projects for AWAGO. She is adjunct Assistant Professor and Research Scholar at Maharishi University of Management, and former Director of Ideal Girls School (middle school) and Vice-President of Maharishi University of Enlightenment (women’s university) in Fairfield, Iowa USA. In 2013 she collaborated with AWAGO and United Women’s Platform for Empowerment and Development on a research project to evaluate the benefits of the TM practice in the lives of disadvantaged women in Uganda, with highly significant results. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Maharishi Vedic Science, MA in Higher Education Administration, and BA in Interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations in Education and Communication from Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa USA.

CAROLYN GAYLORD KING, PHD
Dr. King is a member of the board of Trustees at Maharishi University of Management, USA. She is also a Senior Researcher at Maharishi University of Management Research Institute and Professor in the Department of Physiology and Health. She conducted the first federally funded research projects involving the Transcendental Meditation technique and is actively involved in research on the effects of TM on health. She has a BA in Sociology from Southern Arkansas University, and MA and PhD in Psychology from University of Michigan.

TAZIM ELKINGTON
Tazim started practicing TM in 1991 in Nairobi, Kenya. She completed her advanced Siddhis program in 2006 while living in Canada for 9 years. Her TM practice has helped her grow leaps and bounds and keeps her grounded, creative, expansive and simple in her day to day life. Tazim focuses passionately on children’s and women’s rights, individual and collective responsibility and filling the ‘gaps’ at all levels of life. Her reputation as a Therapist, Trainer, Facilitator, Speaker, Writer and Poet has extended beyond Kenya and Canada to USA, Rwanda, Nigeria, Ghana, UK and further.
